LL-37 (Cathelicidin Antimicrobial Peptide)

LL-37 is the only human cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide. It is part of the innate immune system, released by neutrophils, macrophages, and epithelial cells. LL-37 kills bacteria by disrupting their cell membranes, inhibits biofilm formation, modulates inflammation, and promotes wound healing through angiogenesis and cell migration.
Research protocols vary widely. Typical subcutaneous doses range from 50-100mcg. Used in wound care research at various topical concentrations.
