Selank is a synthetic analogue of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It influences the concentration of monoamine neurotransmitters and induces metabolism of serotonin. It has been studied for both its anxiolytic and nootropic properties.
